Rhinitis

Runny nose, inflammation of the mucous membranes of the nose. Can occur at work if you are allergic to something in your working environment or are exposed to irritants. Non-allergic rhinitis is the most common form.

Hypersensitivity reactions in the nose with sneezing, watery discharge and nasal congestion. Divided into allergic rhinitis (e.g. hay fever from a pollen allergy) and non-allergic rhinitis (no allergy or infection evident, also known as vasomotor rhinitis).
